Meet Our Ladies.
RAVEN
A note from her family:
Raven is a fun girl. She loves her people and is happiest when she is following one of us around. She loves our cat and they play really well together. She is super smart and learns quickly. Raven loves to play and her games of choice are fetch and tug-of-war. She actually knows which person will play which game better. I am the tug-of-war and my husband is the fetch person. She loves going for walks and going to the park. Raven has been really good with off leash work. She loves her snuffle mat, never leaving a treat unfound. She is an expert jumper, neighbors have commented that she looks like a kangaroo or a bunny when she’s excited and playing.

JULES
A note from her family:
Jules is very sweet tempered but also very protective of her large family of 8. There are 6 kids (teenagers to 4 years old) and she is so caring and protective over them. Jules is a bit of a diva and is very specific over what toys she will play with and what treats she will eat. She has been through level one of obedience training so far and rocked it! Jules loves to cuddle and expects that everyone that comes to visit is there for here and she demands they pet and love on her the entire time that they are there. She loves going on walks and playing at the neighborhood dog park.

CECE
A note from her family:
Cece is wonderful. Her energy is more laid back than Kimber’s, my mini bernedoodle, but she will play with Kimber. My older dog, Bella, who didn’t want to interact with Kimber much, is interested in Cece. Having Cece is bringing everyone closer together. Cece is like the glue in between the other two. We love that Cece is friendly with other dogs and she respects our older dog's need for space. She's smart and so affectionate. She loves to be with her people. But if we need her to go into the kennel she goes politely and doesn't usually bark or whine. Her energy is so versatile, she'll cuddle with you on the couch or go out on a long walk or run. On days I'm working (i work from home) she is content to lay at my feet. But when it's time for play she'll chase a ball or run and jump around the yard. At bedtime, she makes the best cuddle companion.

SUNFLOWER
A note from her family:
Sunflower is a very smart, and shy, little girl. She learns new tricks pretty quickly, especially with the right motivation. When I first got to bring her home I thought it would take a month or two to teach her all the different tricks and commands. One of the things I thought was going to be hard or take a long time to get her to do was to go up and down the stairs. But when I brought her home the first thing she did was run and hop all the way up the stairs like a pro. We're all pretty sure she had never gone upstairs before so we were all super surprised! Then it only took a couple weeks for her to learn everything I wanted her to do. As someone who has never had a dog or trained a dog I was very pleasantly surprised at how quick and easy it was for both me and Sunflower. Her most recent trick is being able to climb up and down to and from my bed which is 6 feet above the floor.
Sunflower is very shy and timid and it takes her some getting used to other people and dogs and especially big dogs. She's very silly and one of her favorite places to be is to lay down and cuddle up against a wall or at the bottom of the stairs. Because she is small she likes to go under low things like small tables, beds, and chairs. When she was really little she really liked running and diving under the bed. We made a little game of it because I'd reach to pull her and she'd crawl backwards super fast. If you just sat there for a second she would crawl forward super fast and 'attack' my hand just by trying to grab it with her paws and very gently bite. Then I would grab her with my other hand and pull her out from under the bed. Just as quickly as I was able to pull her out she would dash back under the bed and give a little bark to announce she was ready to go another round. Now she's too big to play that game but that doesn't stop her from getting under the bed super fast. So we play other games like hide and seek, and guess which hand has the treat, playing with her rope, and fetch. She really likes going outside for walks and car rides. Especially if the car ride goes to our cousin's dog and Sunflower's best friend Petra. Sunflower doesn't seem to really like to snuggle with people very much. She will every once in a while but for the most part she's kind of an independent loner. But she likes to be where people have recently been sometimes. Most importantly she likes to know where people are going in case you just so happen to be going to the kitchen. She's ok with getting wet sometimes on her terms but she hates being and staying wet. She gets very excited, hyper, and angry. She goes running and leaping over things at 100% almost as if she's trying to run away from being wet. She is a very smart and good girl and I love her very much and am very happy I got her.
